>>48692384In fact the Kanto sprites in RS are so awkward that the only Kanto Pokemon sprite I genuinely prefer in RS to FRLG is the Seel sprite. The Johto and Hoenn sprites in FRLG use the same sprites as those in Ruby and Sapphire, so I would've preferred if GF had just used the FRLG sprites as the basis for the Emerald animated sprites instead.
