I remember doing a contracting job for a small company (non-writing job btw), I did the work, then after the fact they gave me a $25/hour amount and were shocked when they had to pay me $2,000 for 80 hours of labor lol. (They paid, but needless to say, I was never contracted by them ever again.) I'm obviously not suggesting it'd be anywhere near that much, but I honestly do feel icky sometimes when paid by small, independent folks rather than by companies.
Anyway, I might reach out to that email if I get interested or I might not, depending on how I feel or my regular schedule. Obviously, there's a difference between reading through a fanfic chapter once every now and then vs. editing a VN script.
