That's what's really getting me about X right now. No one's coming close to having a full team. The rival doesn't get his/her FOURTH Pokemon until the 7th gym. There were admins in previous evil teams that had 4-6 Pokemon on their teams, why are the ones in Flare stuck with only 2? Also, I just finished the cafe hideout, and the two Flare admins who were a perfect chance for a double battle? They didn't have one. Just two single battle in a row. I guess it's because your rival wasn't there to be your backup, because we can't have you go up against two admins at the same time.
And on the topic of gyms only having up to 3 Pokemon, my question is "why?" There's over 700 Pokemon now, can they really not be assed to put at least 4 of them on one leader's team? Until Gen V, there was at least one gym in each region that had at least 4 Pokemon. Why are we suddenly locked at up to 3? And why does the Elite Four only have 4 on their team? This opponent team reduction that's happened since Gen V is just... Fuck.
