Never had a shiny in any of my own games, got to see my bro catch a shiny tailow in ruby though.
Been playing Pokemon since i got a copy of gold, never had my own shiny in all those years, hell i often just delete my save data and star a new game every time i beat the E4 and write down what my old team was, skills, and stats so i knew how good they were and to remember the past bros gone to the void.
I do this in hopes of finding a shiny Pokemon for my own.
