>>45130004The other problem is motion. Samurott swinging its swords would look retarded in motion regardless of its standing position. Its arms are tiny stubs with no joints, and Gamefreak realized this so they have its swords extend comically.
The anime tried to fix this by giving its arms an extra joint in some shots toward the end of BW, but it doesn’t have that luxury in its sprite or model.
