Tate & Liza are beaten, but not without a tragic death. Still, the battle went relatively according to plan so I'm not too upset. They're definitely the hardest battle in the game so deaths here are to be expected.
My leads were WinRAR the Wishcash and sweet little Rowley the 1% Volbeat. I did a combo of Helping Hand + Surf to easily two-shot the Claydol, and Earthquake not being an issue for the two, but the Xatu outsped both and killed Volbeat with a Psychic. However, I'm thankful he didn't go for Wishcash instead.
Then I brought in Absol and switched Wishcash out for Mightyene expected a Solar Beam which is what happened, but I took out the Xatu. Then I had Mightyena Taunt the Lunatone to completely shut it down and the rest of the battle was quickly delt with.
Really sucks that Rowley had to die, but the fact I even got to use a Volbeat at all is something special, and he did his job very well.
