The work was originally titled "Their Second Autumn" but I came to really dislike the title and found it poorly representative of the work as a whole. Around chapter 3 or 4 I think is when I flipped the title over to "The Scholar's Folly" and added that parenthetical to the title so people wouldn't think "Second Autumn" had been deleted.
