>I love my new 3ds, but the switch outperforms it handily.I was telling you that the entire time. I’ve been telling you that the 3DS can’t perform Switch games, so comparing a 3DS game to a Switch game is like comparing the same handheld console to a Wii U, considering that the Switch is nearly the same in terms of hardware specs.

>>40034780 doesn’t explain how the games of the Switch are more than just “upscaled” and “refined to HD.” Switch games uses up more resources, more polygons, engines that sometimes aren’t compatible with the 3DS, and more, all of which uses up more memory.
These shitty “comparisons” of SwSh to a GameCube Pokémon game are invalid because everyone is just taking screenshots of an alpha/beta version of the the game through a blurry video clip.
From the first look of SwSh, out of pure guesses, the map alone is bigger than Alola, even bigger than Kalos, space wise.
Let’s Go P/E being a VERY linear remake of Yellow with a few added features took up 4.6GB, can’t be played on a 3DS due to technical limitations alone. You’d have to compress the entire game, cut down on the resources, and You can imagine how much a new larger region with +500mons, more attacks and moves, etc.
Right now the only thing that they’re being lazy on is reusing resources and assets for 6 years.
I shouldn’t have to explain anymore details to you about the difference between the development and process of games and how they evolve as consoles progress.
