>>54686759Its not really easier or harder. I'd say if anything its probably the smoothest and most consistent game in the series. I can't really think of any difficulty spikes or drops. There even aren't really any stretches were you're fighting a bunch of the same type. Pokemon is as hard as you make it. Always has been.
