>>26593977Ultimately, its a matter of audience, and what you consider good. My old account was reasonably accomplished as far as views and readerbase is concerned, but I still would only consider it mildly popular, because some fics have six digit view counts.
After making a new account and switching to writing about different IPs, you have to build a new audience and attempt to carve a niche out for yourself at the same time.
So I'm less successful this time around, but I'm also writing much more for myself, whereas I used to write at least partly for my readers (and not in a good way.)
