Yell at me all you want, but I didn't feel the games were going bad till ORAS. XY still felt like a step in the right direction for me with all of the new changes, despite some steps back and lack of endgame content. ORAS fixed some of XY's problems but was really pandering, SM was passable but underwhelming, and I skipped LGPE. But since USUM it seems like GameFreak has shifted to minimal effort & pandering as a business strategy. These new games just feel like some kind of sick joke. The worst part? SWSH is probably gonna make records; almost everyone I know with a Switch has a copy.
