You're all missing the main argument as to why designs now are bad. Numons are designed as furry characters and not monsters. Incineroar is bad because it is literally a man in a tiger suit. Intelleon is bad because it looks like a missing extra from Disney's Robin Hood. They were all designed as anime characters begrudgingly tied in to a video game. Machamp is good because it is just a cool humanoid monster. All the older humanoid pokemon were Psychic or Fighting type which made sense to be humanoid.
