>>41413514Nice strawman. People shouldn't be grateful for services they pay hard cash for. Sure, it's great manners to be, but expecting customers to be is in turn horrid manners.
What you call a 'hardcore fan' sounds more like an addict or a victim of abuse that scrapes the floor to get their fix because they can't stand up for themselves and could never dream of going against their provider's wishes for fear of losing their precious vice.
I'll say it again, just for you; Screeching endlessly about dex makes you no better than those who're eating it up because you just want your 'bros' to be satisfied, not an actual quality game. The dex cull would be irrelevant in its entirety if the game showed improvement or elements that really told you "yeah it would've been impossible to port every single one of the pokémon in the dex with this in the game". Sadly, this is not the case, as what chunk of the dex there is is as boringly and cookie-cutter made as it always has been.
Simplified: It's the same downhill game as has been for generations despite the price and console upgrade. The dex cut was just the half-eaten cherry on this barebones cake. Eating it up or screaming about only the cherry and throwing the entire thing on the floor for it are equally disgusting.
