>>18790198>Venusaur>Stall, not tankUnless you're running subseed with synthesis, but Trevey here has that and Leech Horn, and Wisp. Harvest + Sitrus >= Leftovers
>Gourgeist is better>Gourgeist can use Subseed Leech Harvest>But there's little point in using it at the same time as HippowdonGliscor passively heals, inflicts a status on itself (preventing paralysis), doesn't fuck over your Grass types with sand, and has an immunity to EQ.
>Chestorest is one time only>What is Harvest/Recycle/Setup time?Really though, if I have a Pokemon to build up defenses, who's to stop that one rest from even mattering? Phasers can be used as bait for setting up entry hazards once this happens.
>Rest also takes up a moveslot>Sleep talk takes up a secondStall doesn't always need as large of a movepool because it's not relying on the type coverage of offense. The basic forms of recovery are here without the need for leftovers.
>Those are used in addition to leftiesI've personally had great fun combining Red Card with slower 'mons that set up Substitute on the second term for shits and giggles, which once again rings null for doubles and any Pokemon that can make usage of Protect (how else do you expect MegaSaur to recover, bar Synthesis). The extra healing factor could be translated into hypocracy with your own comparison of "a little more damage".
No, you're not worst off building a stall team with item clause just because you can't be creative and manage priorities with your items. You just need to git gud and make the most of your team members.
>Item clause would just be a buff to offensive teams in a meta where they already dominate.pic related
