I'm not sure if I want to follow in the same vein as the game canon, wherein Silver gradually becomes resentful of Giovanni and the two end up estranged, or if I should steer the plot in another direction and have it take place in some sort of alternate universe where Silver actually stays with Team Rocket in an attempt to follow in his father's footsteps, growing older and eventually succeeding him.
