I live in the UK. Last year GAME came close to going out of business. Supporting my local GAME is a good enough reason to buy the physical edition, the employes there are nice and I'd hate to see them loose their jobs and more importantly if there's a GAME event and it closes down I'd have to travel to the neared city with an open GAME to get it.
Also I like collecting things, part of what drew me into Pokémon, so owning the physical copy and its box appeals to me. The pre-order bonus adds to this.
