Speaking solely about the Pokemon. For every other Gen there's only a minority who dislike the majority of the Pokemon. List all the good Pokemon from said Gen and the hater rarely retaliates.
But try to convince someone that Gen 5 had good Pokemon and everyone loses their minds in a frothing rage.
