>>20630328>And then Slowbro switches out to get its health back, while Slowbro can't switch in to Thunder Punch Medicham at all.I was simply making a point that Mienshao has U-Turn.
>Unless it's sufficiently weakened. It does sacrifice coverage, though.
>Mega Medicham:>-is bulkierMarginally.
>-has a priority moveUnstab'd and sacrifices coverage.
>-can use sub setsMien can too, although no-one ever does...
>-doesn't need to be choice-locked to achieve ridiculous damage outputNeither does Mienshao.
>-has a secondary STAB that allows it to easily get past Mega Venusaur and hit Clefable on the switchTotally true.
>-can use Ice Punch to reliably one-shot certain fighting resists like Gliscor, Lando-T and DragoniteMienshao often uses HP Ice jut for these three, and to great effect.
>-can use Thunder Punch to get through Slowbro and bulky GyaradosGyara is hurt by well-placed Stone Edges, and Slowbro gets his lefties knocked off and takes U-Turn damage.
>-resists fightingWell, okay.
Like I(and you) just said Mienshao plays differently than Medi; Medi is a much better standalone wallbreaker, while Mien has higher speed, two interesting abilities to work with, good Sp.Atk to go mixed, and has excellent utility moves in general. Oh, and Mienshao doesn't take up a mega slot.
