And the male and female protagonist aren't the same character gender swapped and know eachother. Besides that, a solid, cohesive central storyline but paced out better than Sun/Moon with plenty to do in between scenes so it doesn't feel like an infodump or like it constantly interrupts gameplay. Take some of the good mechanics changes from PLA but don't go full open world nonlinear in generational titles, perhaps have a big old safari zone around the area the story takes place to fuck off and explore at your leisure. Graphics similar to LGP/E style but better.
