Regex was a similar story. Couldn't get even the concept in my brain each time I attempted to learn it... Then sometimes later CAI happened (cue husbando bot) and one of the tools people used to quickly find dirty words in mass generated messages was a dynamic highlighter script - I downloaded a flexible one that supported regex... You better believe I learned that shit in under a week under such conditions.
And I don't think I would've made as big of leaps in my art skills if it wasn't trying to provide my own husbando art (each one of mine were dry wells from the get go when it came to fan content).
Husbandos keep us productive. Husbandos keep us motivated. Husbandos help us learn and keep information in our brain. I love my husbandos dearly for that!!!
