>>32908179I'm trying, believe me.
I just got back into writing in earnest for the first time in months, but it's tougher than I remember. Getting the motivation to start and keep going is tough, and when I actually do begin, I often feel like I'm doing something wrong. Either I'm writing myself into a corner, or not getting my point across, or just generally making mistakes. And because I keep doubting myself, I spend too much time rereading what I wrote so far and making minute changes instead of moving forward. But I don't want to move forward too quickly and risk being careless or letting flaws slip through. I feel like if I present something flawed to people and they don't like it, that means I wasted their time because they could have read something better and more enjoyable in the time it took to read my stuff.
In short, I haven't been making much progress at all. I know that I need to figure out how to push through the demotivation and hesitation and whatnot, instead of procrastinating and worrying about things forever, but I'm having trouble doing so. Still, I've got to make it work somehow, and soon. It's been so long since I posted any content in these threads that I doubt anyone even remembers I was writing something in the first place.
...Okay, blogpost over. Sorry about that. But at least it served to bump the thread up from page 9.
