I think the last place I checked in was after grant. Its been THREE WHOLE BADGES since then. I've had one loss I thought I would feel much worse about and two which weren't crippling but were teammates I really wanted keep longer.
Firstly, Kiryuin the Kirlia was eaten by a pursuit by Tauros while we were training for Korrina. I pretended to train three other team members before getting bored and deciding Morla and Mariel could do the job and I could use the trainers to level up TheEnd.
It turns out ghosts walls Korrina 100%. Shame TheEnd won't evolve for so long.
The trip to Courmarine City was pretty uneventful, but the Cheren fight got out of hand. I made some bad choices and Mariel wasn't in a good position to deal with Braixen and while I knew in my heart of hearts Mawile would live a psybeam and a firespin, I also knew in my heart of hearts a payback would OHKO it. I was half right. RIP SamuraiPJs.
I spent some time being BFFs with my Eevee, so a team of Elton and Morla did the heavy lifting for Ramos. I'm digging Sylveon more than I thought I would, and he pulled his weight in the powerplant kissing Mightyenas and infatuating all the girls.
Alex Sebek got caught and critted by a dugtrio on the way to Lumiose. Given the hits I was taking I figured I could even take a crit but I forgot crits ignore stat drops. Stupid intimidate, saving my ass and then killing the croco-quiz master.
I didn't bother training anyone since everywhere I could train was death or damn slow and went strait to Clemont. A cakewalk with escobar doing all the work and getting to evolve. The only snag is that I forget Magneton doesn't levitate, which meant I put Escobar in extra danger wasting a yawn which got counter acted with electric terrain and trying to switch into Morla to kill with a superpower. No more losses, just feeling dumb luck.
