>>36809217You're in for a great time if you're willing to understand how the system works. In Mystery Dungeon, enemies can kill you as quickly as you can kill them; enemies respawn, you don't.
The goal is not to fight every foe, but to make it to the end of the dungeon, which means you have to be smart about choosing what fights you can win or need to win, and which fights are best avoided.
The outlaws lurking the dungeons have no honor and neither should you--if the only way to win is to huddle in the corner of a big room waiting for your HP to regen and stoning anyone who looks at you to death before they can get in range, by god, do it.
Mystery Dungeon is a roguelite, so above all else remember: failure can be just as fun as winning. Godspeed, OP.
