>>36337939Routes are up there with music that make you feel immersed in the game because it's the setting for everything. Even Alola has good routes, I love how you can always see the ocean, it's very calming. While they are stale in layout their design is appealing enough, very natural looking. I wish they were more complex, but at the same time I appreciate the effort of making each island a cohesive unit, since there aren't that many "official" routes in alola as just areas with names.
