>>40394507In the off chance this isn't bait, I'll voice my opinions:
1. Going months without any decent news is unusual for Pokemon, especially this close to release.
2. The dex getting cut implies they'll be able to put more effort into the game, something we still have no evidence of, considering all the firestorms about the tree, and how Dynamaxing, the selling point of the game, is literally just them adding a Fresnel shader to each Pokemon, literally five seconds of work per Pokemon.
3. Agreed, but there's no harm in shitflinging, unless someone takes it too far and bombs Game Freak or something. People don't HAVE to act civil all the time, we're not lobotomized.
4. Eh, seems like a lot of work to go through the trouble of both modeling, texturing, and painting nearly 200 different curries. It could be argued that they should've used that time and effort for something more Pokemon-related, or stuck to something simpler like Pokeblocks or Poffins.
5. Agreed. Personally I think they should've slipped in a little more, not new reveals, just something more than eight minutes of content spread across 24 hours.
6. Doesn't mean we have to like it. Between the raised price and increased hardware, anyone with an IQ higher than 50 would reasonably predict that the word "underwhelmed" should never enter the conversation, but here we are, talking about how much we dislike this or that, and a fraction of a minority have enough hype left to actually talk about things they LIKE about Gen 8.
