>>48606407I mean the type is one of the weaker types defensively, And a lot of rock types are built to be slow and bulky which when combined with a massive list of weaknesses make them not very good. The only pokemon that consistently makes it work is tyranitar and that's mainly because of it's ability sand stream giving it a free Spdef buff. Which shows the extreme lengths it takes to make a rock type actually good. On the other hand when you look at a type like ghost, It's pretty much a ticking time bomb Ghost types are only held back by meager stats and weak offensive moves, But when a ghost type doesn't have this limit, 99% of the time they absolutely destroy smogon's meta. Pretty much only 1 resist and 1 immunity. Similar to dragon. and only 2 weaknesses one of which is itself. It's a shock that the type hasn't gotten nerfed.
