So what's you guys favorite story moment?
For me it was Dusknoir's change of heart in special episode 5. He felt relatable in being scared to die (in contrast to the player character accepting his 72 virgins almost instantly) and it cemented him as my favorite character in explorers. The moment also has one of my favorite feels songs in the series.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUDA1xBmobEOn top of giving some nice character development that was only hinted at in Time/Darkness, I like how the future didn't start to change until Dusknoir saved Grovyle, implying that if he went through with the original plan he would have succeeded.
It's a shame the Arceus Ex Machina ruined the ending of SE5 for me, it would have been so much more powerful to have left it off with everyone disappearing. I can certainly see why they gave them a more direct happy ending though.
