Sorry for general lack of updates, but Ouroboros the Arbok is a solo hall of famer. I used six X Attacks and two X Speeds to ensure I could sweep my rival (Pidgeot really doesn't hit that hard). I got an alarming amount of crits through, which of course cancel out your own stay boosts in Gen 1 and I got hit with hypnosis spam for many turns by exeggutor while spamming pokeflute. Overall a much easier run than expected mostly due to wrap being OP.
