>>42968048It would be a shock for the both of them. And so adorable, too!
I imagine the two of them taking a stroll down a street. A rare time where one doesn't see the iconic pairing together. To not pick-up on the fact that his best buddy is right around the corner or so, I believe they would have to be occupied, perhaps listening to something, or interacting with their Pokemon. When Delinquent-san and Edge-san inevitably crash into one another, they very quickly exchange many apologies, reassurances, and offers of assistance, oblivious to everything. "Oh, whoa! I'm so sorry. How terribly inconsiderate of me." "Ayy, no biggie man, that was on me. I'm pretty clumsy, heh. Hey, did I bust somethin' of yours up by any chance? Just say the word and I'll get it fixed up for ya." "There's no need to worry about that. You're not hurt or anything, are you? It would be awful if you were." "Nah, like I said, no biggie! Heh-heh."
As the duo continues on with their gentlemanly exchange, and as the fogginess of their collision dissipates, they eventually come to realize that the individual they are conversing with is none other than their very own partner in crime... or however you refer to their usual antics as. At first, they're excited to have met up with one another, just out of the blue like this! But, the excitement fades rather quickly, once they both realize they just saw right through the other's act... again. Edge-san becomes very flustered while he ponders this thought, somehow making a fool of himself in front of none other than his best friend. Delinquent-san's cheeks alight with just a bit of blush, in a bit of disbelief that he messed up like that. He lets out a few awkward laughs, ending with a defeated sigh. Finally, they agree to never speak of this again, and shake hands before awkwardly shuffling off. (People saw. People gossiped. People were chased by the boys shortly afterwards.)
What a truly amazing question! I only hope I did the scenario justice haha.
