I had friend that wanted to get into comp this time around, before the game came out I told him to get a feel for doubles in the battle facility/tree they will most likely have post-game. Not only was I a complete retard for thinking Gamefreak wouldn't remove more content but he's lost interest now because the meta right now is so strict and power-crept right now, you're actually putting yourself at a major disadvantage if you're not using a team of pic related.
