If you're not into the competitive/online side, it's best to wait for Yuzu and play other things that will fill the void. Otherwise, there's a lot of quality of life for making a competitive team under a day and plenty of shiny raids being hosted by people each days.
All in all, if you're a faggot that likes seeing your pokemon walk around and play with them, you're in for a treat. It's also best to make yourself a team of babymon/favorite if you want some sort of challenge for the main story
