In Pokemon Stadium, Jynx had Ice Punch as part of her moveset. But the animation for it is actually a slap. One day I was playing the game using Jynx because I needed an ice pokemon and I'm spamming Ice Punch. My older sister's boyfriend happened to be in the room. I only spoke French at the time (I was like 10 years old) but he spoke English. Anyway after doing Ice Punch a few times, with the slap animation, my sister's boyfriend says "Bitch slap!" as I do the move. I asked what he said and he tells me he said nothing. Then I use Ice Punch again and again and he says "Bitch slap!" everytime, I don't understand what he's saying but it sounds funny to me so after a few times I start going "Bitch slap!" too whenever I do the move. Then he tells me I shouldn't say it because it's a bad word and my parents will get angry if they hear me say it. That just makes it sound even funnier to me and I just make sure my parents don't hear it.
Anyway some days after that I play the game with some friends and pick Jynx because she's like a meme to me now, I shout "Bitch slap!" as I do Ice Punch and all my friends are confused except one who starts laughing as he's bilingual. I explain the story and he explains to us what "Bitch slap" actually means, and now we're all giddity because we're using a bad word and it sounds funny to us and we all start calling Ice Punch "bitch slap" and we call Jynx "Bitch", but we call her that thinking it makes her sound cool rather than an insult.
It's a dumb childhood story but it's stayed with us to this day and we still call Ice Punch Jynx "Bitch Slap".
