I don't understand what was so different between runs that I had such a wildly different emotional response to it. In both runs 90% of my deaths were due to dumb mistakes on my part, but in my first run I just rolled with it and in my second run it really frustrated me.
I was going to do XY next but decided to just do a normal playthrough instead because I was afraid I wouldn't enjoy it. I just don't get what made me enjoy my first run so much and hate my second when they played out in much the same way.
