An island and a mainland where the island is a bit more underdeveloped and peaceful, the mainland is more developed and violent/unpleasant. Colder up North (to the point of snowing), a bit more warm down South, moreso on the mainland than on the island. It's fairly humid both on the island and mainland, so that can be pleasant or unpleasant based on your taste in humidity. The island is heavy in forests while the mainland has more rocks. Large companies control everything in the mainland and most of the lower class are miserable and working their asses off to keep their homes and bring home food. The elite four, the main governmental force of the region, is payed off by these corporations to look the other way when it comes to employee abuse, destruction of the environment, and other misdemeanors.

Some douche from the mainland. He's the son of an owner of a major corporation in the region, so he's always in possession of top-of-the-line pokemon. He's a spoiled asshole who's ignorant to the suffering of others.
>Villanous Team
A cultist group bent on bringing giratina to your dimension. They plan on wiping out everybody but those who are "chosen" (everybody in their cult). They're extremely dangerous.
