>>36711407When you are building your second remake of a game, you're at least supposed to take inspiration from the first one and make it more complete.
Instead of this, they're going to remove basic mechanics that were already standard 12+ years ago (abilities, held items, wild battles) while keeping the most superfluous ones (megas, partner powers ie. Z-moves, player customisation)
Pokémon is a simple game and its battle system doesn't need to be simplified that much.
LGPE also removes 81% of the national dex, the GTS, Wonder Trade, ranked battles for no reason, while making people pay for the remaining online features.
We still don't know if LGPE will be compatible with the official bank.
If people judge this game for what it is, they see the first pokémon game released on the Switch, """on the big screen""" and they think that it's supposed to deliver.
The game doesn't need to be in HD or whatever is higher but they should at least get the pokémon animations right or stop using the grided map.
GO (pokémon animations) or SM (non-grided map) managed to do it on less powerful devices.
Fans have the right to stay and say their opinions on how they feel about this game, even if they don't like it, and aren't entitled if they do this.
