>>56070995I can understand shallow movepools as a complaint. Some pokemon are just miserable to use, and I beleive that no matter how bad a Pokemon is overall, they should at least have a point in the game where they are either strong or the best in.
Like, why am I rewarded with pic related after dealing with a 2% encounter rate on a random patch of grass out of the way in this one tiny area of the game? Chimecho doesn't even have a gimmick like Luvdisc or Unown so there's no "excuse" for being shit.
It's like Game Freak understands that you should be rewarded with your efforts when you invest time into something, but only implements this practice half the time. May as well just use the Ralts line. Has literally double the encounter rate, eventually becomes a good Pokemon, and gets some decent tools that don't make it outclassed by every other Psychic type in the game.
