If this is how we're going to do things going forward, the only way I will accept it is if Gamefreak does the unthinkable: a generation without Charizard, without Pikachu, without Lucario, and yes, without Eevee and its evolutions. If they had the stones to do that, then I would almost come to respect their decision and consider it to be more than just laziness and a chance for them to market the same handful of Pokemon again.
