Forgot that I had to go to the Pokemon Village first. Was getting turned around a bit in the forest, and met Hootsie the Noctowl, and picked up quite a few items. Upon reaching the village, I quickly happened upon...an Amoongus. Man, I realize Zoroark was a pipe dream, but....*sigh*. A friend's a friend. I shall call him Muushuu.
While in the village, I finally bothered to learn what Anglow's ability was, because CHRIST I was getting sick of the random encounters. I generally try to keep level parity by leading with the lowest level Pokemon in my party, but I couldn't stand to keep getting so many damn fights.
Doubled back to hit up the gym. I was nervous about leading Wentz, despite the fact that ice would be neutral, but he came through like the champ he is. Only struggle was the Avalugg because of its insane defense, but Anglow came in and put it to bed.
I skipped on through the final route, and caught....a Spinda, whom I named DJ. Jesus. I was pretty down on the idea of Whismur earlier, and I've been proven VERY wrong about her, but I don't think DJ will end up the same...
At this point, I did what I do in every game at the end; went on a grand tour of the world. With the item finder and all the HMs, there's always new stuff to find. One of the things I found is that you can fish in Parfum Palace! Hello Lysa the Gyrados (Named for the asshole whose Gyrados took Krill from us). Also raked in a menagerie of items!
That done, I headed for Victory Road. I forgot the guy who checks your badges also battles you. But that's of no matter. I'm about to go fight for the title of Champion, what could the doorman do to me?
