- HM's should no longer be actual combat-abilities. Instead, you will simply unlock a fifth "ability" once you defeat the appropriate gym leader, and so every pokemon that makes sense to surf on, will know surf... Every pokemon with slashing abilities can cut etc. etc. This removes the entire need for the retarded concept known as HM slaves and gives you more incentive to train and evolve more than two pokemon for storymodes.
Maybe even add a possability to carry extra filled pokeballs in your backpack which you can only use for "HM" moves when they're in there, but you need to be in specific areas to put backpack pokemon in your active team.

This makes it possible to catch new pokemon and instantly using them in the same area if you suddenly find yourself missing a HM eligable Pokemon for something.
- Delta Species appearing as an alternative to legendaries. Lightning Charizard, Crystal Onix etc. Have areas that aren't tied to the main story in remote locations and have conversations drop you "rumours" about sightings of known pokemon that look differently.
- No more EX pokemon in the X&Y TCG.
- This won't happen for X&Y of course, but just once I would like a game to give you an option to start off with a Eevee instead of the grass/fire/water starters when prompted. If you do this, you'll get an extra event a bit later on where you can choose a stone to evolve your Eevee.
