Some reliable check you have there. Can't even switch it safely. I'll give you Clefable but it just seems like a very small niche.
>>42087888I didn't mention Rotom-H, entirely different Anon you dingus.
>That means its primary niche is beating fairies specificallySee above calc of hatterene. You're not switching into it. If you get predicted your Flareon is fucked. It's a fire-type, by virtue Stealth Rocks (alongside Flare Blitz recoil damage) will make it a mediocre wall.
also look at this calc (though it's Dragapult, not a fairy type but I think it speaks about Flareon's actual bulk)
>252+ SpA Choice Specs Dragapult Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 156+ SpD Flareon: 211-250 (63.1 - 74.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock this is only somewhat important if you invest 56 EVs into Attack>252+ SpA Choice Specs Dragapult Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 16 SpD Vaporeon: 184-217 (39.6 - 46.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recoveryVaporeon with little SpD investment tanks a Draco meteor so much better. Sorry, again I would really like to see Flareon viable but these people are just theory crafting. If you really want to prove me wrong get to 1500+ using Flareon & show me specific examples of it fulfilling its niche but I just don't see it happening, the whole thing is coming off as a meme to me. No one in that thread is showing any sort of actual results. I'd be more than happy to admit I'm wrong if I am but I'm not going to blindly accept that it's good just because 5 smogonites said it was good on paper.
