>>53731621The 4Kids scripts were trash. Honestly, the only thing that could've saved everything would've been had pic related been allowed to happen with Pokémon. Unfortunately, the YGO one lasted 3 volumes and got canned, and they were going to lose the rights to Pokémon within 2 years anyway, and there's probably zero chance TPC would've greenlit it. But still, just picturing the 4Kids cast getting to redub the OS as an authentic dub, with the Jap music and visuals and official subs, it's a shame. 4Kids was unironically on the verge of completely pulling a 180 on their reputation, but it was too late, and the anime dubbing industry passed them by.
