My Sun team and certainly the most disappointing. I planned it out beforehand with the express goal of only using new pokemon (With Komala being at the behest of a former friend of mine), failin to realize that the composition of the team was absolute dogshit, leaving it weak to a lot of things and only consisting of physical attackers
>Decidueye: The starter I wanted to use the most and my first time going Grass. Incredibly underwhelming as, while it was good at the start, towards the middle and end of the game it failed to keep up, often losing to or coming close to losing to stuff it should've easily beat. I wanted so badly to like it but it just kinda sucked
>Muk-Alola: 2nd best pokemon of the run. I didn't expect much because regular Muk was never great despite it being one of my faves but this shit just tore through Skull and Aether the moment it evolved, and was a great tank for most of the game. 10/10 would use again
>Crabominable: Dogshit, absolute dogshit in every regard. Fairly okay early on, but falls off very quickly, not helped by it being the last pokemon on the team to evolve, and the wait wasn't worth it at all since all that Ice typing did in the E4 was make it substantially weaker to everything there. Too little and too late.
>Lycanroc: Another disappointment. Because I marathoned the game mostly at night, it didn't evolve for a long, long time (Not until Vast Poni Canyon) and even then it just wasn't that great. Too frail for too little power and too unreliable overall.
>Mudsdale: The GOAT, the MVP of that entire run. Carried me through Kahunas, Totems, and everything in between and saved my ass more times than can be counted. Even without stamina it was a fucking monster, helped by titanic bulk and getting great level up moves like Earthquake and Heavy Slam
>Komala: Only got this because of a friend and it sucked dick. Couldn't do shit the other team members couldn't do better and fell behind insanely quickly
