Gen 4 will arrive and it will do extremely poorly. Gen 3 success was the result of the DexCut and all the bs that ensued. Without the DexCut, Gen 4 will just be 'another Pokémon game' and this time the 'normal' people will have lost interest. Gen 3 was very flavor of the month with 'normal' people. Gen 4 will do poorly and then Gen 5 will be better. Not much better but most likely better than Gen 1.
