>MewtwoSpeak of the devil itself. I switched into Nigel as Koga gave it an X Attack. I was able to paralyze it, and from there, stacked up some Defense Curls while delivering some Dizzy Punches in between the offturns for Mewtwo's Dig. It took a bit of parahax, but Mewtwo went down thanks to Nigel.
>MachampNigel outsped and Psychic put it in the red. Fortunately, Machamp responded with Leech Seed. Nigel KO'd it next turn.
I forgot about the level spike after Erika. I haven't played Gen 1 in years, but at least I'm prepared for whatever's in Saffron.
>>55691787Might just be the novelty. It's like when you play a shooter for the first time. You're having a lot of fun despite you getting lazered left and right. A few months and a few more wins later, you're not having as much fun, because you've become desensitized to winning and losing hurts more since in your mind, you shouldn't be losing with your skills.
