Red was a bit of a pain to beat but nothing special. His Venusaur and Espeon were the most difficult as venusaur kept hitting hard with solarbeam on Congo the Caterpie but she pulled through. With Espeon, poor Algeria the Kadabra died, but will be missed due to his essentialness in the whole part of the run he was in. Guam the (not shiny) Gyarados was also another star player who made it to the end. Sadly Mongolia the Primape and Kosovo the Krabby didn't survive the final battle either, with Primape almost 1 shotting the Snorlax, only to be critial hit himself.
Sadly, this team means that the caterpie and magikarp lines are now excluded from my runs, making early game catches not too plentiful or variant, but they normally suck anyway so it's all good.
Onwards to Silver version and a new adventure!
