A lot of people think its immature that some of us value an old mon we caught back in RSE to this day and want to bring them with us to new games when we could start anew, but what they don't understand is why some of us do it.
I don't transfer my bro over to steamroll the game, I transfer it because you have the option to. And what comes with it is stuff like ribbons for example that no other Pokemon in the current new game has. Fuck, ORAS awards you with a Secret Base decoration poster of your bro from 2003 if you brought it that far.
GameFreak didn't have to add those things and could've removed em' at some point, but they didn't and that's what made the games and Pokemon unique to an individual player.
And maybe there's no new ribbons or easter eggs in Galar, but I'd still like to bring my bro over into the game just to see it in there.
