On 4chan, surprisingly, it's not uncommon to find decent people just doing what they love with the contentment of knowing that they can be anonymous and not have to deal with any pressure. Drawthreads are always fun as a result of that, even with the occasional cringe request.
This is one of the primary reasons that I always find myself coming back to this site, honestly. It's a truth that you can't ignore and it always lifts my spirits when I see it myself.
