Really bad showing from the Rising Volt Tacklers here. Their livelihoods depend on successfully protecting and delivering Liko. They know they are being pursued by hostile forces. There are 6 people and over a dozen Pokemon on this ship. No one is assigned on watch duty. Their enemies are attaching tracking devices onto their ship that last for days and could have been easily spotted by a five minute lookover the hull. People are boarding their ship before the heroes notice, after it's way too late to raise shields. The heroes outnumber Amerthio's team 2 to 1, and yet they're allowing their enemy to leave and go after Liko. It's not like they're up against an extremely formidable supervillain like Hunter J here. If the Rising Volt Tacklers had simply taken basic precautions then it would have been unlikely that Amerthio could have done anything.
Now that Liko is in Corviknight's claws, this is looking like a disaster for the RVT. Amerthio's team has 3 flyers, but the RVT only have Charizard and Noctowl. Amerthio's two lieutenants on Skarmories can block Charizard and Noctowl while Corviknight enters the submarine. Once they dive below the water, I don't think the RVT have any way of stopping them.
