>>51655063I liked SM, I actually find it one of the better games (probably because I didn't mind the cutscenes), it's just some decisions and how small the region feels despite being 4 islands that bothered me, namely:
-The Ridind Pokémon thing I pointed on the reply above;
-The Rotom dex being annoying, having to point you to the only direction you can go.
Then USUM went and also downgraded the story.
Now, I'm fully aware the the following was my own fault, for forgetting that "expectation is the biggest killer of enjoyment there is", but I thought that once the Nebby is taken by Necrozma, we would have to go to that other ruin and get the opposite Legendary there in order to go save Nebby, but it ended up just being yet another "rental" Ride Pokémon handled to you by the Ultra Recon Squad, to reach their world and it only be a corridor to reach Necrozma... Again, it was entirely my fault for expecting something better, but you probably can imagine my disappointment at the moment.
Other than that, I mostly agree with your other points, sorry for the little wall of text.
