>>34935395It's not that strange for someone to randomly write certain words in katakana. While I couldn't find any example of it being does specifically for 前 and 後ろ, there's examples of words like 口, 腕, 顔, or 感じ getting written in katakana instead of kanji or hiragana on concept art sheets. The artist for Kartana does it a lot.
That's also not ウミロ, but ウシロ. Like I said, the artist for the monkey has messy handwriting. I thought it said ウミロ at first too, but it's slanted in the opposite direction. Their シ was just written sloppily.
